When we think of spring, we think April showers bringing May flowers. This calendar is meant to convey those thoughts with the wording printed on photo paper and mounted on green and soft yellow cardstock. I taped two cardstocks: “Spring Mix" and green by overlapping and applying to chipboard for stability. Scraps were used for accents.
Umbrellas were used to represent the April showers in the cardstock at the bottom and the blue highlights of the diecut umbrella. Handles and tops of umbrellas were handcut to change some of the colors and show layers. Copic marker gave the green lines.
A flower was added with a button center that has narrow ribbon threaded in center. The calendar months of April and May were printed on photo paper and staggered on the layout. I used blue flowered ribbon strung through holes on either side at top to make a hanger.

Great calendar. I love this idea.
Try it. I plan to recycle the designs for the coming year's months also. It is just a matter of printing the months off and adhering on top of current year's months. Thanks for your comment.
