I took these photos of my "old neighborhood" a few years ago. I grew up there in the 50's and 60's. I was amazed at all the changes there since I grew up. I wanted to do something special with them but didn't know what to do. When I received the Tim Holtz page kit this month, I thought, this is it. What great colors and prints to help show my childhood memories.
The new flowers are very cool. You can make them whatever color you want. You can paint them, ink them, or use any popular mist on them. Since I kept a white border on these photos, I kept my flower white and added a little ink, just to make them pop. I used lots of distressing with ink and sand paper to make this layout work. This is a keeper.
