Altering Grungeboard

Ever tried grungeboard? It's like chipboard, only better. It's bendable and takes well to embossing, painting, inking, sanding, etc....

I used a large grungeboard piece on this layout:


And here's a close-up of the grungeboard.

First, the grungeboard was embossed using a Tim Holtz alterations embossing plate (the bingo card). I stamped the grungeboard and heat embossed the image with black embossing powder. Once the grungeboard cooled down I used several colors of acrylic paint on top. When the paint was tacky I swiped a damp paper towel over the piece, wiping paint off to reveal the embossed image.
