Celebrate Card by Esther

With good cardstock designs that are colorful, making cards is easy. This card was designed using 6" x 12" of BoBunny's Avocado Dot cardstock as the base. It was folded at 5 & 1/2" from right side of the 12" with the dots on the outside. The corners were rounded with the 1/2" Chomper Rounder.

The top flap lets the inside of card peek out. A bracketed journal piece was adhered at the top and left. Strips of Block Party Jamboree were added at the bottom with a white cardstock flower on top. Concentric circles formed the flower with a green American Crafts brad in the center on green Copic Marker markings. The bright circles of Picnic gave the right accents for contrast to the green.

"Celebrate" lettering was welded with the Gypsy, adhered and glittered. Red stones were added to the inside right for sparkle. When the cardstock is very decorative, use less added decoration. Most of this was the scraps from making the layouts in this kit. I tend to save the scraps. They do work nicely for making cards.
