This month's paper by October Afternoon reminded me of the lazy days of summer. I decided to try something new - I spritzed my background papers (Fly a Kite and Front Porch) with water and crinkled them up. When they were dry I ran them through my
Zutter distresser - very powerful and impressive, available at Scrapbooks
plus.
I inked all my edges using Tim
Holtz Distress Ink. I cut the kite shapes from the Ice Cream paper. The flowers were made from circle punches - spritzed and then distressed. The
premade flowers are from
Prima.
