This little layout was inspired by the Brocade paper from the Giving Thanks line. I love the flourish pattern and the colors. I think it is so neat how one side is the opposite of the other. I wanted to showcase this in my design so I used the side of the paper that has the orange background with white flourishes as my base and added a strip of the white with orange flourishes to the left side of my layout. I used the orange side of the Striped paper to create a file folder element for my page that I used as my photo mat. I like the brushed look of this paper and used it instead of cardstock to add a fun texture to the layout although a nice piece of bazzill would have worked well too.

That was a nice way to use both sides of the cardstock and set off the contrast with a solid. I must scraplift that idea.
