"The Surrey with the Fringe on Top" is a show tune from the 1943 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, Oklahoma! " It was also in "When Harry Met Sally". From Wikiedia.
The papers gave me the right combination for this photo layout of a surrey at the Winmill Carriage Collection. The carriage reminded me of the song and the theme. White cardstock was used to mount blocks of Chandelier, Noteworthy and Fabric Store cardstocks. The red fringe is actual fringe from a fabric store that was cut to fit the space.
The red corners were made with squares of Echo Park cardstock that were shaped with scallop scissors and applied to the photo. A second surrey is pictured and mounted on a tag by Echo Park. Circular accents emphasis the wheels of the surrey.
Just imagine riding in style in a fringed surrey.
