Dimensional Paper Flowers

I made this simple explosion box card this month from our beautiful Design Team papers!  I added on top a neat dimensional flower that is super simple to make but quite impressive.   Here's a close up of the flower:
Here's how to make it...  gather 9 paper flowers that are the same.

Take 8 of your 9 flowers and fold them each in eights (in half, then half again, then half again) using a bone folder, if needed, to create a pointed center.  Then cover the center circle (not the petals) with a strong liquid adhesive for paper.  This will be your flower base. Take 7 of your folded flowers and  place the points in the glue creating a circle.  This was difficult to capture a picture of, but you can see that the center doesn't have petals pointing upwards.  This is where your last pointed flower should go, adding a little more adhesive, if necessary.   Let dry and you'll have a flower so dimensional, you'd think you just picked it!

This is such a cool idea! I have tons of those flat flowers sitting around here.
