Our Family

For my altered item this month I used the Gromed Traveler paper to make a frame for our latest family photo.

I started by using my Tim Holtz design ruler, cutting knife and mat to cut the center out of what would become my frame. I then cut the inner border design apart from the outer border design.

I cut strips of chipboard to layer on the backs of both of the borders in my frame.

I layer three pieces of chipboard on the back of the 4 sides of the square on the large border and only one layer on the back of the small border.

The end result was this layered dimension.

I added some embellishments to the bottom corners to add interest and to show off the depth of the frame.
