When I was a girl I would decide if I liked a dress by whether or not it would "spin pretty." So when my sister in law was having trouble finding flower girl dresses for my daughter and nieces I offered to design and make the dresses myself. Of course I designed them to be "spin pretty" dresses.
To add dimension to my layout I added some beautiful bling and a few flowers from my stash. This a a great way to add color and texture.
If you look at the first photo you will notice there is a little butterfly in my daughter's hair. {There is also one "hovering" over the little flowers in the wand I made for her to carry.} I added this little butterfly I had in my stash to the flowers to pick up the butterfly in the photo.
I cut out part of the tea cups with my craft knife and cutting mat. I slipped my photo behind them then painted them with Mod Podge and Chandelier Glimmer Glam to add a bit of sparkle to that side of the layout. Then I added another larger butterfly to the tea cups.
For the title I used the storytellers letters from the Ladies&Gents collection, a journaling/ title block from Framed Beauty, and some of the fabric ribbon. I love the way it turned out. I also love these letters, absolutely love them!! I used them on several of my layouts and still have plenty left for future projects. The colors and two different sizes make them so versatile. They are easy to use, do not peel apart, stick well but aren't permanent right away so you have time to move them if you need to. There are multiples of every letter and I love the font. I buy these alpha sheets to use with other product lines too.
