Lace, Flowers & Pearls by Esther

This vintage photo called for lace, flowers and pearls. The accent frame of chipboard was hand cut and covered with a slightly larger piece of floral cardstock. The off-white paper flower just needed a little sparkle. Pearls gave just the touch. I strung the beads onto cotton covered wire in 4" lengths and made five loops. The loops were twisted & adhered behind the flower center. This is a technique used in making flowers (one of my past endeavors).

Chipboard scrolls, on either side of the printed title, were painted brown. The two lengths of pink rickrack were woven to make the strip on the left. A doily was place on the cardstock as a base for the other accents. Lace with ribbon, flowers and pearl accents, a few buttons made a feminine layout for this photo of Garthenia. The photography does not show the colors used as well as the one shown on the DT Wall or at ScrapbooksPlus.
