2011

When I first started to work on my projects for this month I was sort of on over load. The papers were so bold and busy that I had a hard time getting started. And then there was the whole "Year in Review" thing. After going through the worst year of your life you don't really want to revisit the whole thing. At least I know I didn't. Then I saw the Life Snippets paper with all of the different circles I knew what I wanted to do. I decided to cut the circles out and make a layout with 3 rows across, 3 rows down of circles and layered deep. This is what I came up with:

I love all of the layers in this layout, especially the torn book pages Lisa included in our kit. To add to the dimension in the layers I inked the type print paper and the green paper as well as the journaling tag. I also added border layers under the photos, a circle I cut slightly bigger than the photos. There are 8 layers in all and I am thrilled with the result. I can't wait to get this layout back and slip it in my scrapbook to be done with 2011.

Goodbye 2011!!!

Don't come back;)
