This card seems very appropriate given the recent hurricane that swept through our area. I distressed the edges of the background paper which is the wonderfully colorful Basic Grey Oxford. I tore the inner piece & distressed that as well. I stamped this wonderfully spooky lady with Archival Ink & heat set it to help prevent smudging. The painting was done using distress stains. Make a puddle of color on your craft sheet & simply use it as you would water color. It stays wet for a bit which gives you time to highlight & blend the colors. A few brads, stamped words & done. A fun kooky card!
