I just love these little faces! I sent them off to school again this morning just before sitting down to blog. {sigh}
The papers and other elements of the My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing
collection came together so easily for me to create this layout. I
used a craft knife to cut the design out of the background paper and
slipped my matted photo right behind the design to begin creating this layered effect.
Next I added two of the chipboard elements. One fits right inside the other so I added pop dots behind the inside element to make it pop further than the outer element. I also punched a circle out of one of the stickers to place over the center of the chipboard to change the look a bit and to change the sentiment since it worked better for my layout.
I used foam dimensional adhesive to pop the "Everyday is a blessing"
card off of the page. Before I added it to my layout I used an edge
distresser to alter it a bit. Then I slipped my journaling with
ribbon accent right behind the edge of the card and adhered it to my
layout.
I finished the layout by writing the date on this chipboard piece and adding it to the upper right corner of my photo.
