Sleeping Beauty

When we got our Design Team tryout kits they included a beautiful piece of wide, chunky lace. This is the kind of lace that is so pretty and has such a nice presence on the page, that you really don't need a lot of additional embellishment.



I used my lace on this one-photo, one-page layout. The lace draws your gaze from left to right and sort of "underlines" the single 4x6 photo and title. The weight of the wide lace combined with a small mat of patterned paper keeps the smaller elements from looking overwhelmed by the size of the page. A simple folded flower and a few buttons are all that's needed to finish it off.
